Pete John Pianalto, 96, of Tontitown, died November 1, 2018 at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale. He was born December 8, 1921 in Tontitown to Joe and Annie Cigainero Pianalto. Pete served in the Army during World War II. He was a farmer throughout his life and considered to be a professional Bocce Ball player. Pete served on the Tontitown Planning Commission and was a member of the Knights of Columbus. He is survived by his wife of 69 years Lucy "Lou" (Franco) Pianalto; four children, Deloris Green and husband Ken, Donnie Pianalto and wife Shirley, Ronald Pianalto and wife Terri, and Roger Pianalto; five grandchildren, Stephen Green and wife Rebecca, Ryan Pianalto and wife Christy, Clint Pianalto and wife Sarah, Shelly Bewley and husband Brian, and Justin Pianalto and wife Casey; ten great-grandchildren, Brock, Gilli, Connor, Rosie, Colby, Gibson, Reece, Cason, Harper, Ava; and many nieces and nephews. A Rosary will be 6:30 p.m. Monday, November 5, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Tontitown. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at the church. Interment will be at St. Joseph Cemetery.
