VIRGINIA MCCLERNAN FETZEK, 99, of Little Rock, passed away peacefully on November 2, 2018 at Hospice Homecare. She was surrounded by her four children. She was born in Bemidji, Minnesota; the daughter of Clara and Augustus McClernan. She was a member of Our Lady of Holy Souls Catholic Church for 73 years. A loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Joseph G. Fetzek and her brother, Frank McClernan and a sister, Loretta McClernan. She is survived by one son, Dr. Joseph P. Fetzek of Boise, Idaho and three daughters: Terry Snider of Little Rock, Ginny Shirley of Dallas, Texas and Cathy Fetzek of Little Rock. Four grandchildren: Scott Snider of Boise, Idaho, Chris Snider (Carrie) of Little Rock, Jennifer Neufert of Essen Germany and Ryan Fetzek of Los Angeles, California and two great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held at 6:00 p.m. followed by a rosary service at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, November 5 at Griffin Leggett Healey and Roth, 5800 West 12th Street. A mass of Christian burial will be held at Our Lady of Holy Souls Catholic Church on Tuesday, November 6 at 10:30 a.m. with Father John Marconi officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
