Dale Cash, 84, of North Little Rock, Ark. passed away Monday, October 29, 2018. He was born February 14, 1934 in Pulaski County, Arkansas to Marvin and Mildred (Lyons) Cash. Dale was a graduate of Ole Main High School. After high school, he served in the United States Army four years as a Sgt. and afterward enrolled in the Arkansas National Guard. He was a licensed helicopter pilot and worked in Nashville, Tenn. for WLAC Radio and the Metro Police Department. He was an avid outdoorsman, loved the Razorbacks and his four dogs. He was a member of Oak Grove Church of Christ and the NRA. Dale is survived by his wife of 20 years, Sandy Scarborough Cash; son, Kerry Cash (Michelle); daughter, Leslie Franklin (Todd); son, Doug Cash (Penny). His seven grandchildren, Caryn, Ethan, Scarlett, Jacob, Lillie, Lauren, and Cody; two great-grandchildren, Madison and Matthew; two siblings, Paul "Gene" Cash (Nancy) and Emma Lou Cash; his mother-in-law, Ruth Scarborough, as well as several nieces and nephews and countless other family and friends. Dale was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Freddy L. Cash; grandson, Doug Cash, Jr., and sister-in-law, Mary Cash. Memorials may be made to Oak Grove Church of Christ, 5025 Oak Grove Road, North Little Rock, Arkansas 72118. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, November 7th, 2018 at Smith – North Little Rock Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, November 8th, 2018 at Oak Grove Church of Christ. Burial will follow at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery.
