Laverne Pippins Sr., 83, of Little Rock, Ark., departed this life October 31, 2018. He was preceded in death by: parents, George and Florence Pippins Sr.; siblings, Willie Pippins Sr., Frank Pippins, Velarita Pippins, Devonte Pippins. He leaves to cherish his memory: children, Charles Newson, Jerryl Newson, Dennis (Eunistene) Chatman, Laverne Pippins Jr., Sharonetta Pippins, Rita Pippins; siblings, George (Ruthie) Pippins Jr., Lee Pippins, Roland Pippins, Gerald Pippins, Kenneth Pippins, Wonda Pippins, Raymond Pippins, Rickie Pippins, Fanie Pippins; and 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandparents; six great-great-grandparents; and a host of other relatives and friends.
