Billie Dean Foster, age 89, of Fayetteville passed away Tuesday November 6, 2018 in Fayetteville. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 59 years Nancy Catherine Shreve Foster; two sons Frank Blew, Jr. and Mike Blew; a brother Ellis Foster and a sister Marjorie Burnett. He retired after 32 years from the USDA Food Safety Inspection Service. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army serving in Austria during post WWII peacekeeping mission and in Alaska during the Korean Conflict as a medic. He was of the Christian faith. He is survived by his daughter, Nancy Blew Israel and husband Ben of Fayetteville; his daughters-in-law, Mava Gilley Blew of Fayetteville and Rita Ragland Blew of Junction, Texas; seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Memorial Service will be held 2 p.m. Friday November 9 at Moore's Chapel. A private internment will be held at Farmington Cemetery at a later date.
