Beverly Christine Morris

BEVERLY CHRISTINE MORRIS was born on May 22, 1954 to the late Artheria and Ivy Williams. She departed this life on Thursday, Nov. 8, 2018. Beverly confessed her faith in Christ as her personal Savior and was baptized early in life. She was a long-time member of Greater Friendship Christian Church. Beverly loved the Lord and people young and old. She had a passion for gardening. Beverly met and married the love of her life, Steven, and soon they moved to Germany, later returning to Little Rock, where she would give birth and they would raise their two children. Their marriage lasted over 40 years. They would have celebrated their 46th wedding anniversary on Dec. 23. Beverly was a devoted wife, mother, Christian and friend. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Beverly's son, Steven Morris, Jr., and her sister, Margaret Ann Williams, preceded her in death. Beverly leaves to mourn her passing: husband, Steven Morris, Sr.; one daughter, Narishea Parham (Terrone); two brothers, James and Artheria Williams, Jr.; two sisters, Patricia Ellington (Leroy) and Clarice Williams Landers; two grandchildren; and a host of other family members and friends. The Home-going Celebration for Sister Beverly is scheduled for Friday, Nov. 16 at 10 a.m. at Greater Friendship Christian Church, 4640 Springer Blvd., Little Rock, Ark. 72206.
