Mary Ruth Peacock

Mary Ruth Peacock 108, of Winchester, Ark. passed away November 10, 2018 in Winchester. She was born November 26, 1909 in Winchester, Ark. to the late Jesse Thomas and Adelia Smith Peacock. Ruth was a member of First United Methodist Church in Dumas, a member of Jefferson Friends Club, Graduate of Dumas High School and Arkansas State Teachers College (UCA). She was a teacher and taught Music at Jefferson School District and Joe T. Robinson. Ruth touched many lives and will be missed by many. She is survived by a host of nieces and nephews, Great nieces and nephews and great-great-nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Tuesday, November 13, 2018 from 9-11 a.m. service following at 11 a.m. First United Methodist Church in Dumas with Hardy Peacock and Rev. Tandy Hanson officiating with burial following in Tillar Cemetery. Memorials may be made in memory of Ruth to Methodist Family Health, 1600 Aldersgate Rd. #200, Little Rock, Ark. 72205.
