Noveta Renee Sparks Watkins

Noveta Renee Sparks Watkins was born in Little Rock Arkansas on August 13, 1958. She was the fourth of five children to the late Willie, Sr. and Florida Sparks. She was preceded in death by one brother, Samuel Sparks. Noveta graduated from Hall High School in 1976 and later an Associate's Degree in Nursing from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. She worked as a Registered Nurse at the Veteran's Administration Hospitals in Little Rock and later Atlanta. In later years, she became a Clinical Research Coordinator at the Atlanta VA, and Emory University School of Medicine. Noveta was loved by her family, friends and those who came in touch with her. She was bold, honest, funny, compassionate and possessed a pure giving spirit. She would literally give you the clothes off her back. She is survived by husband, Dr. Clyde Watkins, Jr. of Avondale Estates, Georgia; One sister, Gloria Finney of Los Angeles, California; Brothers Ted R. Sparks of Atlanta, Georgia, Antonio Sparks of San Francisco, California, Willie Sparks, Jr. (Marion), Floyd H. Sparks (Denise), and William C. Sparks (Carla) of Little Rock, Arkansas; Nephews, Willie III, Theodore, Ted, Justin and Sam Sparks; Nieces, Shirley Hodges, Tava Sparks, Alethea, and Monique Lee and a host of other loving family and close friends.
