Rosalyn "Kay" Pennington Richards

Rosalyn "Kay" Pennington Richards, 61, of Scott, passed away unexpectedly November 14, 2018. She is survived by husband John Paul Richards; sister Lori Van Lytle (Jack) of Little Rock; niece, Jennifer Rogers (Ryan) of OKC and her sons, Caleb, Levi, and Samuel; nephew, David Van Barnett and his son, Van. Preceded in death by parents, Van Pennington, Jr. and Bobbye Tarvin Crowder, and sister, Lisa Marshall. Kay was a proud alumni of the University of Arkansas, baritone player in the Razorback marching band, and veteran of the Arkansas National Guard Band. She was band director at Fuller Jr. High and Sylvan Hills Jr. and Sr. High School for 30 years. She loved travelling and taking spontaneous adventures with her husband, especially to the beach, and was an avid hunter and fisherman.
