Phillip Wade Davis

PHILLIP WADE DAVIS, 47, of Little Rock, Ark., passed away Saturday, Nov. 17, 2018 at his residence. Wade was born on April 27, 1971 in El Dorado, Ark. While living in Magnolia, he was a member of Central Baptist Church. He was known as "Boss Hog" to his friends, an avid sports fan of the Razorbacks, Cubs, and Bears, and an outdoors-man. Wade was preceded in death by his sister, Christy Rene (Davis) O'Donnell, and grandparents, Jessie Wade and Adecial (Williams) Davis and Robert "Pete" and Helen (Saunders) Vaughn. He is survived by his parents, Phillip J. and Dru Ann (Vaughn) Davis; sister, Rebecca Hipp and husband Michael of Memphis, Tenn., and their children Morgan Rene Hipp, Cooper Wade Hipp, and Mia Claire Hipp; brother-in-law, Sam O'Donnell and wife Stacey of Magnolia, Ark., and their children Austin O'Donnell, Shelby O'Donnell, Dalton O'Donnell, Macy Rudd, and Gaston Rudd; four-legged companion Murphy; and a host of friends. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 25, 2018 at the Lewis Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Eric Goble officiating. Burial will follow at the Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. in Magnolia, Ark. Visitation will be held Saturday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
