Howard Randall Hail

Howard Randall Hail, 75, of Jacksonville passed from this life on Wednesday, November 21, 2018. He was born November 19, 1943 in Pineville, Kentucky to the late Howard R. and Carrie M. Hobbs Hail. Mr. Hail served his country in the United States Air Force for over twenty years, and was awarded several service medals including the Distinguished Flying Cross with Four Bronze Oak Leaf Clusters, Air Medal with One Silver and Two Bronze Oak Leaf Clusters, Air Force Longevity Service Award Ribbon with Four Bronze Oak Leaf Clusters, Air Force Outstanding Unit Award with One Bronze Oak Leaf Cluster and Air Force Good Conduct Medal with a Silver Oak Leaf Cluster. Randy enjoyed reading, music, fishing and being active in the Friends of Bill W. He was preceded in death by siblings, Jean Pearman, Ralph Hail; and grandson, Zachary M. Norris. Survivors include his wife, Carol Hail; children, Ann (Mark) Hail Norris of Cabot, Elizabeth (Greg) Hail Nix of Jacksonville, Jerry Foshee of Jacksonville; grandchildren, Hailey (Jason) Norris Tulberg, Jake (Brittany) Norris and Benjamin J. Foshee. Other survivors include siblings, Thomas Reid (Dee) Hail and Jerry (Janet) Hail both of Ohio; along with a host of extended family and friends. Memorial services will be 2 p.m., Sunday, November 25, 2018 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home with Pastor Nathan Kilbourne officiating.
