Juliane Katharina "Julie" Arnold

Juliane Katharina "Julie" Arnold, 92, formerly of Bentonville and recently of Garden Grove, Calif. passed away to be with her Lord and Savior November 17, 2018. She was born July 25, 1926 in Germany to the late Joseph P. and Katharina Sell Langenbach. Following WW2, she married Lewis Gene Arnold and they, along with their young sons, moved to California to raise their family. She was proud of her outstanding 45 year career ‘ringing doorbells' as an independent Avon representative and earning ‘Top Sales' awards in her district each of those years. Upon their retirement, they moved to Bentonville. She also enjoyed shopping, interior decorating and especially proud of her home. In later years, she returned to California to be near her family. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded by her loving husband of over 50 years; a sister who passed as an infant and her brother. Survivors include her daughters, Linda Johnson (Dean) and Charmaine Fiermonte (Mario) all of California; her sons, Jurgen Arnold (Lorraine) of Nevada and Larry Arnold of Missouri; 13 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; numerous extended family members and dear friends. Her Graveside Funeral Service will be at 2 p.m. today, Friday, November 30 in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery near Hiwasse. Arrangements are under the care of Callison-Lough Funeral Home in Bentonville.
