Nathan Riddle,Jr.

Our beloved Officer Nathan "Pooh" Riddle Jr. passed of pneumonia last weekend at the age of 35, but his work ethic, sense of duty, and love of life will remain with those who knew him. Officer Nathan "Pooh" was born August 25, 1983 to Nathan Riddle and Dorothy (Morris) Robinson in Little Rock, Arkansas. Nathan received his education in the Pine Bluff School District. He graduated from Pine Bluff High School in 2001. He also attended the University of Arkansas at Conway. In 2001, Nathan enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. He served for two years with the Conway Police Department. Prior to that, he rose to the rank of sergeant with UCAPD. He also was a Police Officer at Camp Robinson (and completed the fire academy there) and served two tours in the Marines. Those family members who are truly blessed to have been a part of his life and with whom he leaves a wealth of laughter and touching memories include his mother; Dorothy (Morris) Robinson of Pine Bluff, Arkansas. His father; Nathan Riddle of Little Rock, Arkansas. A special cousin; Cassandra Moore of Pine Bluff, Arkansas. A host of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Friends. Celebration of Life will be Saturday 2:30 p.m. at Highland Baptist Church with Rev, James Barnes Officiating Interment will be in Graceland Cemetery V.A. Section by Paradise Funeral Home of Pine Bluff. Family Hour/Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. at New St. James M.B. Church, 3301 South Fir Street. "Only Paradise Can Serve You Better!"
