Ruby Elizabeth Upshaw

Ruby Elizabeth Upshaw 95 of Springdale, Ark. entered into rest on September 16,2018 in Springdale, Ark. She was born July 24,1923 in Hindsville, Ark. to Jim Wade and Nellie (Lane) Wade. Ruby was a loving wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great-grandmother and Aunt. She retired from baby setting after 40 years and she loved each and every one of the children she cared for each day. Anyone that had known Ruby knew she loved to cook and she would cook for anyone that walked through her front door, she loved crocheting and quilting, she loved fishing and she loved spending time with her family and church family but most of all she loved the Lord. Ruby is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Earl W. Upshaw of 60 years, her son, Jerrell D. Upshaw, her grandchildren, Rudyard Upshaw and Richard Upshaw, her sisters, Evelyn Donaghey, Floy Kelly and Ova Hodges and her brothers, Jimmy Wade and Joe Wade. Left to cherish Ruby's memory is her son, Earl Jr. Upshaw and wife Barbara of Spokane, Washington. Jerrell Upshaw's wife Barbara S. Upshaw of Pea Ridge; her grandchildren, Rudy and wife Patricia Upshaw of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Mark and wife Tricia Upshaw of Pea Ridge, Heather Upshaw of Spokane, Wa; Great grandchildren Josh Upshaw, Cody Upshaw, Taylor Upshaw, Jade McDougall, Dustin Upshaw and Olivia Upshaw and many nieces and nephews and a host of friends and loved ones. Funeral service will be Friday, September 21, 2018 at Sisco Funeral Chapel starting at 3 p.m. in Springdale with Pastor Ray Main officiating and eulogy by Mark Upshaw.
