Gloria Elouise Hoyt

Gloria Elouise Hoyt, 91, of Sherwood passed away Saturday, March 30, 2019. She was born in Little Rock, Arkansas on November 12, 1927 to the late Edwin and Corrine Carlo Martello. Gloria was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years Edwin George Hoyt, Jr., by her sister Gay Crowe and her brother Bubby Martello. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church since its dedication in 1949, graduated from Mount Saint Mary's in 1946, was a volunteer for the Hayes Senior Center, volunteered for Arkansas Hospice and was a member of the Altar Society at IC. Gloria is survived by her son, William Charles Hoyt (Debbie) of Jenson Beach, Florida and a grandson, Eric Hoyt of Sherwood, by several nieces, nephews, and extended family. The family would like to thank Elmcroft for their kind, loving care they showed Gloria during her time there, especially to Brenna, Barbara and Tiffany. Visitation will be held Thursday, 6-7 p.m., April 4th with Rosary starting at 7 p.m. at Smith-North Little Rock Funeral Home with Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, 10 a.m. April 5th at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in North Little Rock.
