Clyde Dale Westerman 81, of North Little Rock, passed away on Sunday, March 31, 2019. He was born July 28, 1937 in Benton, Arkansas to Clyde and Alma Westerman. He attended Fellowship North Bible Church. He served in the United States Army National Guard for 22 years at Camp Robinson.vHe was an excellent marksman. As a second lieutenant, he won the national center fire pistol championship, Reserve expert class, of the 1966 National Pistol Matches at Camp Perry, Ohio. He retired as a Captain in 1979. After retirement from the Army he became a skilled painter. Painting the inside and outside walls of many Central Arkansas homes. He loved fishing, hunting and camping with his grandchildren. He was also an avid reader. When the love of his life, Mary, passed before him 3 years ago, he did the best he could to keep going. Now, he is reunited with that love of 48 years. He is preceded in death by his parents; son, David; daughter, Wendy; and wife Mary. He is survived by his sons, Charles Westerman and Bobby Eubanks (Rhonda); brother, Rick Westerman (Susan); grandchildren, Brittany Dyer, Bailey Eubanks and Blair Eubanks; niece, Lori Palmer (Jarad); and Nephew, Drew Westerman (Amy). In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Camp Barnabas, 2060 E. Sunshine Street, Springfield, Mo. 65804 or Fellowship North, 1 East 52nd Place, North Little Rock, Ark. 72116.
