Nancy Jo Teague

Nancy Jo Teague, 82, of Star City, passed away April 4, 2019. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmom, sister and friend. She retired after 25 years of service from Mid-State Automotive. Nancy was an avid archer and sportsman, loved to travel with her husband, and used her knitting skills to create caps for the homeless. She was a member of Sandstone Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Belmont Witten Hallmark; her brother, Jimmy Hallmark; her husband of 59 years, Henry Teague; and grandson, Justin Teague. She is survived by her sons, Tim Teague (Sandra) of Nesbit, Miss., and Jim Teague (Teresa) of Star City; daughter, Kim Doehring (Cary) of Hernando, Miss.; brother, Michael Hallmark (Jan) of Lebanon, Tenn.; and grandchildren, Owen Harris, Weston Teague, Tori Doehring, Jagr Doehring, Dylan Teague and Alyssa Teague. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 9 at 10 a.m., with the funeral service at 11, at Sandstone Church of Christ. Burial will be at Mt. Home Methodist Cemetery in Star City.
