Ruthie Mae Pharr

Ruthie Mae Pharr, 93, of Hot Springs Village, Ark., formerly of Magnolia, Ark. passed away Saturday, April 6, 2019 at the Good Samaritan Society in Hot Springs Village. Ruthie Mae was born in Norphlet, Ark. on January 22, 1926 to Joseph W. Kelley and Jessie Mae (Johnson) Kelley. She was a member of the Balboa Baptist Church in Hot Springs Village. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Otis Delmage Pharr; and a brother Clarence B "Doc" Kelley. Survivors are her son Randy Pharr and wife Amelia of Conroe, Texas; daughter Delma Jensen and husband Wayne of Hot Springs Village; three grandsons Christopher Pharr and wife Jamie of Southlake, Texas, Rodney Black and wife Debbie of Keller, Texas and Garrett Pharr of Killeen, Texas, and six great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Wednesday, April 10 from 1 to 2 p.m. at Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. in Magnolia with a graveside service to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery at 2:30 p.m. with Dr. Eric Goble officiating. In lieu of flowers memorials in Ruthie Mae's honor may be made to Arkansas Hospice Foundation, 14 Parkstone Circle, North Little Rock, Ark. 72116 or Good Samaritan Foundation, 4800 West 57th St., Sioux Falls, SD 57108.
