Karen Kay Zipfel

Karen Kay Zipfel, 54, of Cabot, passed away April 10, 2019 in Little Rock. She was born January 19, 1965 in Searcy to the late Marvin R. and Marie G. (Herzog) Zipfel. Karen earned her Masters of Fine Arts degree and was an Art Professor at University of Central Arkansas in Conway. In addition to her parents, Karen was preceded in death by her sister, Lisa Marie Zipfel. Survivors include aunts, Marilyn Boehne and Gail (Raymond) Scheibel; uncles, Agnellus Zipfel and Marion "Bud" (Jackie Elmore) Zipfel and numerous cousins and friends. Visitation will be 6 p.m. with a Rosary beginning at 7 p.m., Thursday, April 11, 2019 at Moore's Cabot Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10: a.m., Friday, April 12, 2019 at St. Jude the Apostle Catholic Church in Jacksonville, Arkansas with Father Andy Smith officiating.
