Kenneth O'Neal McKay

Kenneth O'Neal McKay, 86 of Romance passed away Monday April 15, 2019. Kenneth was born January 25, 1933 to William Frank and Alice Aretha (Stracner) McKay of Romance. He was a member of Romance Church of Christ. His greatest enjoyments came from his family, fishing and growing his garden so he could share vegetables with his family, friends and neighbors. Kenneth was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years Betty Marie (Watson) McKay, his parents, 2 sisters, Willie Marie Barnett of Floyd and Patsy Putman of Beebe, two brothers, Robbie Dail McKay of Royal and Harvey (Top) McKay of Romance. One grandson Robert Cauley of Little Rock and one great-grandson, Jack Cauley of Bauxite and one son-in-law, Bob Cauley. He is survived by his four children, Jan Cauley of Conway, Kenny McKay (Linda) and Mitchell McKay (Whitney) both of Romance and Jenna Pruitt (Larry) of Beebe. Three sister-in-laws, Eva Hall of Beebe, Alice Watson of Searcy and Rahuama McKay of Royal, nine grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, April 18, 2019 at the Romance Church of Christ with funeral services following at 2 p.m. Interment will follow in the Romance Cemetery.
