Carolyn H. Allred, 91, of White Hall, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord on April 16, 2019. She was born January 10, 1928, in Anniston, Alabama, to Pirn and Lola Williamson Hammond. Carolyn was a loving wife, mother, and Nonie with an unconditional love that set an example for many. That same love and sweet spirit made her a treasure to all who knew her. There was no end to her giving spirit. She will be greatly missed. She retired as a Labtech from NCTR. After retirement she enjoyed flowers and gardening. She was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church and the Ruth Sunday School Class. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Hershel and Sherman Hammond and a sister, Laverne Hammond. Survivors include her husband of 65 years, Charles Allred; a son, Kenneth Couch of Tucson, Arizona; daughters, Deborah Cochran (Elmer) of Batesville, Marion Allred of Batesville; a son, Douglas Allred (Sherry) of White Hall; a nephew, Jeff Lybrand and family of White Hall; brothers, Vaughn Gale Hammond of Eden, Georgia, Hulan Hammond of Alpine, Texas; grandchildren, Donna Wilson, Jennifer Couch, Adam Farley, Brent Arledge, Johnathan Arledge, Hannah Elliott, Brittney Post, Ashley Allred; eleven great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. The family wishes to thank Jefferson Home Health and Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock for all the love and care they showed. Visitation will be Friday, 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Robinson & Fuller White Hall Funeral Chapel. Funeral service will be, Friday, April 19, 2019, at 11 a.m. in Robinson & Fuller White Hall Funeral Chapel with Reverend M.L. Faler and Reverend Michael Hayslip officiating.
