Thelma Smedley Ray Geurin

Thelma Smedley Ray Geurin passed away Monday evening, April 15, two days before her 98th birthday. She was born April 18, 1921, in Snyder, Texas, to the late David Henry and Clara (Ware) Smedley. Thelma was preceded in death by her husband and the father of her children, Herman Lee Ray, husband, Samuel Paul Geurin; son, Billy Henry Ray; four brothers; four sisters; and grandson, Mark Ray. Thelma enjoyed gardening and traveling. She is survived by her son, Bobby Lee and Charlotte Ray; grandsons, Christopher and Renee Ray, Phillip Lloyd Ray; granddaughter, Amber Shawn Ray; six great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
