James Randal Corbitt, Jr.

James Randal Corbitt, Jr., 39, of Springdale, Arkansas passed away on Thursday, April 18, 2019 at the Northwest Medical Center in Springdale, Arkansas. James was born on January 29, 1980 in West Helena, Arkansas, a son of James R. Corbitt, Sr. and Laurie L. (Fischer) Corbitt. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Norman E. Corbitt Sr. and maternal grandmother, Roberta "Birdie" Proctor. James is survived by his mother, Laurie Corbitt; his father, James "Randy" Corbitt, Sr. both of Springdale, Arkansas; his siblings, Heather Corbitt Wilder and husband Patrick of Springdale, Arkansas and Tyler Corbitt of Little Rock, Arkansas; two nieces, Olivia Corbitt and Bonnie Wilder of Springdale, Arkansas; paternal grandmother, Pat Smith of West Helena, Arkansas; six uncles, Scooter Corbitt, Derril Corbitt, Terry Lynn Corbitt, Todd Fischer, Tory Proctor, Toby Proctor; and his aunt, Robbie Dyer. Visitation will be held on Monday, April 22, 2019 at 11 a.m. at Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Chapel in Springdale, Arkansas. Funeral service will begin 12 noon, Pastor Wes George will officiate the service. The family would like to thank the staff at the Springdale Health and Rehab Nursing Home and the Northwest Medical Center ICU in Springdale for their kindness and service.
