Amanda Christina Yates

Amanda Christina Yates, 40, of North Little Rock passed away on April 18, 2019. She was born on January 24, 1979 in Jacksonville, Arkansas to Thomas Oliver Yates, Sr. and Carole Sue Elkins. Amanda was the life of the party and loved to play kickball. She belonged to the Arkansas Kickball Association. When she wasn't playing kickball, she loved escaping to the beach to relax. She worked in various restaurants in and around Little Rock and North Little Rock, Arkansas. She was extremely proud of all of her children and all that they have accomplished. She was a loving and giving mother, daughter, sister and friend who will be missed by all that have known her. She is preceded in death by her father Thomas Oliver Yates, Sr., her brother Thomas Oliver Yates Jr., her grandmothers Ruby Elkins and Polly A. Yates and her grandfather, James Merle Yates. Amanda leaves behind her children Hunter Alan Yates, Leigha Christine Lynch and Lauren Ashley Lynch; her mother, Carole Sue Elkins-Gardner; her sister, Jennifer Olivia Yates (Chris); her brother Cody Lee Yates (Courtney); her sisters, Monica Ray Carter (Richard), Michele Blum (Jon) and Melanie Sanchez; her grandfather, J.W. Elkins, Jr. as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends. Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, April 24, 2019, at 1 p.m. at A Natural State Funeral Service, 2620 West Main Street, Jacksonville, Arkansas.
