Peggy Jean Thomason Ruff was called home by her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Easter Sunday, April 21 (2019) to rejoice alongside her granddaughter, Bailie Seals. Survivors include her husband, Tommy Lee Ruff; son, Greyson Colt Breedlove; daughters, Carla L. Chastain and Carri E. Seals; son-in-law, Steve Chastain; four wonderful grandchildren, Carlie E. Seals, Quentin T. Chastain, Cahl G. Chastain, and Cade M. Chastain; and her beautiful great-granddaughter, Emma Rylie Shaw. She loved the teacher and staff at Room to Bloom Daycare. Peggy was born on October 23, 1948 to Carlos "Slick" and Billie Jean Wray Thomason. She's the sister of Carlos Dean Thomason. She was an example of the "perfect Christian lady with grace and dignity." Her grandchildren, great-granddaughter and her son considered her to be the best "Grammy" the good Lord has ever created. "She's a good girl, loves her mama, loves Jesus and America too. She's a good girl, crazy about Elvis, loves her horses and her hubby too." Now she's free and hugging Bailie. She will be missed. Graveside service is 10 a.m., Thursday, April 25th, at White Church Cemetery, 8661 White Church Cemetery Road, Harrison, under the direction of Roller-Christeson Funeral Home. Mike Moore and Heath Kirkpatrick will officiate the service. Family and friends are invited to attend. Pallbearers are Quentin T. Chastain, Cade M. Chastain, Cahl G. Chastain, Joshua Thomason, Steve Chastain and John Seals. Honorary pallbearers are Mike Tucker, Craig Harness, Ronnie Ruff, Kendall Ruff, Arlon Hickman and Sonny Chastain.
