John Wayne Webb

John Wayne Webb, 79, passed away in Rogers on April 21, 2019. He was born on December 28, 1939 in the family country home near Centerton, Arkansas to the late, Johnie and Edith L. (Brandon) Webb. He was the loving husband of 60 years to Sharon (Reynolds) Webb. John Wayne was a strong family man who never met a stranger, he loved conversation and never had a shortage of interesting stories to tell, he made you feel comfortable and welcome. He was a sincere Christian, who lived the words he read by helping others without question, he led a fulfilling life. He is survived by his wife, Sharon of Bella Vista; son, Tim Webb and husband, Joseph Baker of Rogers; daughter, Johna Waddell and husband, Wes of Bentonville; brothers, Alvin Webb of Decatur and Royce Webb of Ft. Smith; sisters, Wilma Hunnicutt and Betty Walden both of Oklahoma; grandchildren, Matt Waddell, Lisa Hawks, and Sydney Fields; great-grandchildren; Alyssa Waddell, Hadley Waddell, Kayden Baker, and Jameson Fields. A visitation will be on Thursday, April 25, 2019 from 5 until 7 p.m. at Rollins Funeral Home in the Stateroom. A graveside service will be on Friday, April 26, 2019 at 11 a.m. at Temprence Hill Cemetery, Lee Harris Rd., Bentonville.
