In addition, she is survived by four grandchildren (Carmen Call, Corey Call, Nathan Charles and Neil Charles) and five great-grandchildren, (Mason Call, Crystara Rasband, Dylan Charles, Hattie Charles and Libby Charles) and close cousin Jennifer Call Textor. She was active in the Catholic church and sang in the choir. Betty also studied and taught voice. She was selected many times as the lead soprano in productions of Handel's Messiah. She spread the love of music to her children, who all learned to play an instrument. She loved animals, especially her cats. She enjoyed hosting and attending family gatherings throughout her life. She thrived in social situations, loved people, and had friends who loved her, and whom she loved at the end of her life, in addition to her family.
