Lorraine Pittman Wilson

Lorraine Marinca Pittman Wilson, 92, of DeWitt passed away April 24, 2019. She was born March 14, 1927 in Arkansas County to Floyd Lee Pittman Sr. and Lora Dell Cohoon Pittman. She was a homemaker and a member of Unity Missionary Baptist Church. Lorraine was preceded in death by her husband, Leon Wilson Sr., son, Dennis Wilson, brothers, Howard "Buck" Pittman and Floyd "Pete" Pittman, Jr., sister, Zelma Allen, and son-in-law, Jerry Monroe. She is survived by her children, Leon Wilson Jr. (Tanya) and Debbie Monroe both of DeWitt, six grandchildren, Jade Monroe, Paul McGuire, Seth Wilson, Devin Wilson (Penny), Leigh Diemer (Zack), and Clay Hopson (Jan), six great-grandchildren, two sisters, Margaret "Poodle" Vaughn of DeWitt and Rose Peavey of Monticello, sister-in-law, Sue Wade of Texas, and daughter-in-law, Lura Wilson. Graveside services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 27 at Cedarcrest Memorial Gardens by Essex Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Unity Missionary Baptist Church, P.O.
