Jerry Gordon Ingram

Jerry Gordon Ingram of Flower Mound, Texas, passed away peacefully on April 18, 2019, with his loving and devoted wife of 46 years, Kathryn, by his side. Jerry was born in Stillwater, Oklahoma on August 17, 1930. Jerry served in the US Army for 30 years. Jerry was preceded in death by his brother Gene Ingram and sister Sandy Hackworth. Jerry is survived by his wife Kathryn, sons Steve and Phillip Ingram of Jacksonville, Ark., stepchildren Kimberly Sparks of Flower Mound, Texas, Jeff Brown of Ft. Mill, S. C., Rick Brown of Tucson, Ariz., eight grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and his brother, Glen Ingram of Sahuarita, Ariz. Before moving to Texas in 2010, Jerry and Kathy lived in Jacksonville, Ark., where he enjoyed raising cattle, working in the garden, and cutting firewood from his land. They were active members of Bethel Baptist Church in Jacksonville. A service to celebrate Jerry's life will be held 11:30 a.m. Friday, May 3, 2019, at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home in Lewisville. Interment with full military honors will follow at 1:30 p.m. at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
