Mary Lena Morden Grimmett

MARY LENA MORDEN GRIMMETT, age 96, of Sherwood, went home to be with her heavenly Father on April 25, 2019. She was born November 11, 1922, in Olmstead Community, Jacksonville, Ark., to Horace G. Morden and Venie Clement Morden. Lena was a seamstress and member of Victory Baptist Church. She is survived by her daughter, Marilyn Grimmett Leopard and husband Bill; her sister, Corene Morden Mitchell; several nieces and nephews and a host of cousins and friends. Lena was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Lloyd Grimmett, brothers Sidney "Buster" Morden and Leonard Morden, and sisters Opal Morden Holt and Adene Morden Gwin. Visitation will be Monday, April 29, at 1 p.m. and funeral services at 2 p.m., at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills, Bro. Tom Hart officiating. Interment will follow at Rest Hills Memorial Park.
