David Mark Cathey

DAVID MARK CATHEY, 68, of Maumelle, died April 27, 2019. Born January 18, 1951 in Little Rock, he was the son of Gerald N. and Catherine Corwin Cathey. A decorated Vietnam Veteran Hero, Mark worked in the title insurance industry for many years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and playing the harmonica. Preceded in death by his father and a sister, Cynthia Forbess, he is survived by his wife, Dianne Cathey; daughters Stephanie L. Powers, and her husband, Chad, and Sara Cathey; mother, Catherine Timson and her husband, Jake; niece, Angie Heffner and her husband, Bobby; great-niece, Emmalee Heffner; nephew, Matt Forbess; and niece, Lindsey Forbess. Funeral Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 1, 2019 in the chapel of Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth, 5800 W. 12th Street, Little Rock (501) 661-9111. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time. Interment will follow at Old Austin Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Pulaski Humane Society or Wounded Veterans of America.
