Calton Lorenza Elkins

Calton Lorenza Elkins, 83, of Bella Vista, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville. He was born September 30, 1935 in Peacock, Texas to John W. and Johnnie Myers Elkins. Calton served honorably in the United States Air Force. He was a civil servant for many years. He worked for many children's homes. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betsy Elkins, three brothers, Truman, Fred and Dearl Elkins and his parents. Survivors include one daughter, Cyndie Slyter and husband Jim of Mountain View, Arkansas; one son, Steve Elkins and wife Cynthia of Lowell, Arkansas; one sister, Sue Bradshaw and husband Johnny of Hawley, Texas; five grandchildren, Andrew Elkins, Loryn Elkins, Chris Slyter, Andy Slyter and Krystle Slyter and one great-grandson, Corey Slyter. Funeral service will be Monday, August 5, 2019 at 10 a.m. at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Rogers with Pastor Jack Bedford officiating. Burial with Military Honors will follow in Fayetteville National Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, August 4, 2019 from 4 to 6 p.m. at Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale.
