Mary Evelyn Brown, 86, of Benton passed away Wednesday, July 31, 2019. She was born September 3, 1932 in Nettleton, Arkansas to the late Samuel and Savannah Fooks. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Pierce D. Brown; sisters, Opal Stegall and Thelma Parsons; and brothers, Lambert Fooks and Pinky Fooks.
Survivors include one son, Richard G. Southworth (Willette) of Malvern; three daughters, DiAnn Galloway of Malvern, Kathy L. Norwood (Dick) of Buckville, and Tine L. Benton (Bob) of Benton; two sisters, Hazel Hazell and Betty Cory; nine grandchildren, Brent Southworth, Lindsey Parke, Mýchal Johnson, Keith Powell, Patre Williams, Trey Benton, Amber Johnson, Brad Norwood, Tasha Carneal, three great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and one on the way; and many other relatives and friends.
