Shirley Ann Short, 72, of St. Louis, Missouri formerly of Cotton Plant, died Sunday, July 21 at her home. Two son, her daughter, five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, three nephews, three nieces she reared, four sisters-in-law and a host of other relatives and friends survive her. Funeral services will be held on Saturday morning, August 3 at 11 a.m. at Holy Trinity Church of God in Christ, 620 West Cypress Street in Brinkley.
