Elizabeth Ann Busbea Baker

Elizabeth Ann (Busbea) Baker departed from this world far too early on Sunday, August 4, 2019. She was born on February 24, 1977 to Phillip Michael Busbea and Pamela Ann (Myklebust) Busbea in Little Rock. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, A.W. Busbea, and her maternal grandparents, Charles Robert Myklebust and Shirley Jean (Butler) Myklebust. She is survived by the love of her life, Brian Keliher Baker, her adoring grandmother Mamie Irene (Winfrey) Busbea, her wonderful parents, her loving step-mother, Patricia Ann (Riggs) Busbea, her fabulous sister (and author of this obituary) Michelle Diane (Busbea) Tyree and her husband Christopher, her sweet step-brother Brian Edward Welch and his wife Susanne, her talented step-sister Latisha Jane (Welch) Daniel and her husband Jason, and her nieces and nephews, which were the apples of her eye, Hailey, Mary Addison, and Hudson Daniel, Jackson Tyree, and Kyle Baker. She also had a slew of loving aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and colleagues. Elizabeth was lucky to have married into an exceptional family and they accepted her into their loving arms immediately. She graduated from Sylvan Hills High School in 1995 (Go Bears!) and helped to organize her 20 year high school reunion. She enjoyed a long career in banking and had been employed as a Trust Operations Administrator by Simmons Bank for almost 20 years. She was most well known for her love of the color purple and her exuberance and devotion to all things Disney. We envision that her first conversation in heaven was with her family and Walt. She was a long-time member of the First United Methodist Church and a loyal player in the Faith Ringers. She loved painting with friends and while she was not outdoorsy, she loved a good float trip to a river with friends. Her sudden absence has been felt by all those who had the pleasure of knowing her and hearing her infectious laugh. Visitation will be at the First United Methodist Church, 6701 JFK Blvd, North Little Rock, on Thursday, August 8, 2019 at 1 p.m. followed by the service at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her memory to the Lymphoma and Leukemia Society, as she was a 20 year survivor from Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. She was such a loving person and had the biggest heart of anyone we knew. She will be greatly missed. You may sign the online guestbook at www.rollerfuneralhomes.com/owens.
