Kayla Marie West

Kayla Marie West, 24, of Jacksonville, entered eternal rest on August 6, 2019. She was born January 12, 1995 and was a lifelong resident of Jacksonville, Arkansas. She was a day brightener for co-workers and customers alike at Wal-Mart of Cabot. Kayla was the queen of quirky, had a robust sense of humor, loved watching scary movies & old comedies and playing Dungeons and Dragons with her mom and friends. She loved acting in high school plays, dressing in costume for any occasion and was an avid video gamer with friends worldwide. Her incredible heart was felt in every single one of her incredible hugs. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Norman Lee West, and we are certain that he had pancakes ready for her. Kayla leaves behind her mom and best friend, Norma West; her cherished Granny, Martha Hillman West; her beloved uncle, Kevin West; her favorite ‘step-aunt', Renee West; her first best buddies and cousins, Arthur Linzy West and Emma West and her favorite rugrats and cousins, J. Owen West and Ella West. Visitation will be 6–8 p.m., Friday, August 9, 2019 at Moore's Cabot Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Saturday, August 10, 2019 at the funeral home with interment at 12:15 p.m. at Petit Jean Mountain Cemetery in Oppelo, Arkansas.
