Naomi Ann Pierson, age 83, of Fayetteville, died Saturday, August 10, 2019 in Fayetteville. She was born May 31, 1936 in Anadarko, Oklahoma, the daughter of AD and Myrtle Ann Fisk Tweedy. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Phil and Craig Tweedy, and a grandson, Tyler Thornbrugh. She was a homemaker and was a member of Christian Life Cathedral since 1998. She loved being a mother and grandmother. She is survived by her husband, Jim Pierson; three daughters, Kathy Fasl and her husband John of Austin, Texas; Susan Slezak and her husband Dennis of Safety Harbor, Florida and Sally Pierson of Fort Worth, Texas; four sons, David Thornbrugh and his wife Judy of Winter Haven, Florida; Jim Thornbrugh and his wife Laura of Key West, Florida; Steve Thornbrugh of Merriam, Kansas; and James R. Pierson II of Naperville, Illinois; and sister, Karen Sullivan of Owasso, Oklahoma; 19 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held from 12 nopon – 1 p.m. Saturday, August 17, 2019 at Christian Life Cathedral, 1285 Millsap Rd., Fayetteville, Ark., followed by a funeral service at Christian Life Cathedral, under the direction of Moore's Funeral Chapel. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 am Monday, August 19, 2019 at Douglas Cemetery in Eldorado, Illinois. Memorials may be made to Life Source International or Christian Life Cathedral.
