Jacob Samuel Woolley, age 25, of North Little Rock, passed away on Tuesday, August 13, 2019. He was born on November 25, 1993 in Ascot, England, to William Corey and Kay Amanda Young Woolley. Jacob was an Eagle Scout, which is the highest ranking in the Boy Scouts of America. Jacob was a 2012 graduate of Woodlawn High School. After his high school graduation, he went on to attend the University of Arkansas at Monticello where he received his associate degree. In 2017 he completed his studies at Jefferson Regional Medical Center School of Nursing earning his registered nursing degree. Jacob was a member of Prosperity United Methodist Church. If someone was to describe Jacob, they would say he was fun-loving, had the most tender heart, funny and so generous. He loved being in the outdoors, hunting, fishing and hiking. Jacob enjoyed playing his guitar and was a Be The Match donor. He also held a blue belt from White Hall Martial Arts Academy. Jacob will always be remembered as a loving son and brother. Left to cherish his memory are his parents, William Corey and Kay Amanda Woolley; sister, Sarah Woolley; Paternal grandparents, William Paul and Paulette Woolley of Woodlawn; maternal grandparents, Reg and June Young of Frimley, UK; aunts and uncles, Eric and Alison Woolley of Reston, Va., Mark and Denise Young of Frimley, UK; his cat, Stormy; three 1st cousins and numerous other loving family and friends. Visitation will be from 6 until 8 p.m., Thursday, August 15, 2019 at Buie Funeral Home in Rison. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Friday, August 16, 2019 at the funeral home with Brother Boyd Savage and Brother Johnie Brewster officiating.
