Peggy J. Haskins

Peggy J. Haskins, 79, of Little Rock, Ark, formerly of Pulaski, N.Y., passed from this life in the early hours of August 11, 2019 after a long illness. She was born in Elko, Nev. on October 9th, 1939 to Frank and Verne Strange. She was an avid quilter that spent much of her time making handmade quilts for those that needed them. She donated her time and energy to Romans 1:16 Ministries, as well as caring for her cats. She donated quilts to a number of organizations, including From His Throne Ministries as well as Jericho Way. Peggy worked a variety of jobs throughout her life. She was known to many as the "Toy Lady" at Ames Department Store in Pulaski, N.Y. for a number of years. After that, she could be found at the Byrne Dairy store, also in Pulaski. In 2009, she moved to Little Rock to live with her son, Brian, and his wife Donna. Peggy is predeceased by her parents and her husband, Howard R. "Pete" Haskins. She is survived by her children Kemi Andersen, Kobi (Elsa) Spencer, Debbie Cameron Loi, Brian (Donna) Haskins, and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren. Services will be held Saturday, August 17 at 11:00 a.m., at The Mercy Church, 8705 Scott Hamilton Dr., Little Rock, Ark 72209.
