Leola Alene Eastham

Leola Alene Eastham, 90, of North Little Rock passed away on Thursday, August 15, 2019. She was born in Phoenix, Arizona on February 25, 1929 to the late William Noel Guinn and Mayme Etta Sanders. Leola was preceded in death by her husband of 71 years, Art Eastham. Survivors include her son Ron Eastham (Patricia) and daughter Melba Springer (Ed); six grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren. She was a member of Friendly Chapel First Church of the Nazarene. She taught kindergarten Sunday School for years at the First Nazarene in North Little Rock and helped pass out Bibles for the Gideons. Leola loved to garden, cook and take care of her grandchildren. She also was a help to elderly ladies who needed assistance in her community. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Friendly Chapel Soup Kitchen, 116 South Pine, North Little Rock, Ark. 72114.
