Charles L. Reinhart of Wheatley, died Saturday, August 17. He was born June 19, 1937 in Stuttgart, Arkansas to Louis and Mary Reinhart. He graduated from Subiaco Academy in 1955 and from the University of Arkansas in 1960 with an Agriculture Engineering degree. He married the love of his life on July 20, 1963, and their marriage was blessed with three children. Charles and his new bride moved to Wheatley in 1964, where he and his 18-year-old brother started farming their 1700-acre family farm. He was a lifelong farmer and after retiring from farming continued custom surveying for other farmers. He was generous with his time, talents, and resources, having served as a volunteer fireman and Fire Chief for the Wheatley Volunteer Fire Department for most of his adult life. He was a fourth degree Knights of Columbus and served as the District Deputy as well. He was a lifelong member of the Catholic Church. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Dorothy Reinhart, and their children John (Sissy) Reinhart of Biscoe, Charles Mark Reinhart of Wheatley, and Lori (Ted) Holzwarth of Maumelle. He survived by 7 grandchildren and 3 great-greatgrandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings Mary Lou Reinhart of Houston, Texas, Bill (Shirley) Reinhart of Stuttgart, and Patricia (Rick) Miller of Nevada, Missouri. Visitation will be at Bob Neal & Sons in Brinkley Arkansas on Monday, August 19 at 6:00 with rosary at 7:00. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, August 20, at St. John's Catholic Church with burial following at Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Calvary Catholic Cemetery Fund care of St. John's Catholic Church in Brinkley or the Special Olympics.
