Judith Anne Mellicker, 93, of Bella Vista, Ark., passed away Saturday August 10, 2019 at Highlands Health and Rehab in Bella Vista. She was born on July 2, 1926 in Detroit, Mich., to Clair Alexander Stuchell and Irene Olson Stuchell. Judy graduated from Grosse Pointe High School and Western College for Women in Oxford, Ohio. Throughout her life she had lived in Detroit, Mich., Omaha, Neb., Florissant, Mo., Iowa City, Iowa, and finally, in Bella Vista, Ark. She lived a long and fruitful life, enjoined travel and visits to her farm in the Missouri Ozarks with friends and family. Judy was an active member of her church, the United Lutheran Church in Bella Vista. She was a member of the Stephen Ministry and helped minister to those who were in need. Judy was preceded in death by her husband, George W. Mellicker, of 54 years and by her son-in-law, Richard J. Street. Survivors include a daughter, Martha A. Street of Troy, Mo.; two sons: George W. Mellicker III of Owasso, Okla., and Mark S. Mellicker of Kent, Ill.; five grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m., Saturday, August 24th at Concordia Retirement Center, 1 Concordia Drive, Bella Vista, Ark.
