Kenneth Martin Cook

Kenneth Martin Cook, age 87, a resident of West Fork, Ark., passed away Saturday, August 17, 2019 at Prairie Grove Health & Rehab in Prairie Grove, Ark. He was born January 13, 1932 in Winslow, Ark., the son of Melvin "Pete" and Marlis (King) Cook. Kenneth retired from Elkhart Products Company and was a member of the Assembly of God Church in West Fork, Ark. He was preceded in death by his first wife Oma Gabbard Cook, one son Garland Edward Cook, one daughter Jeanne "Elaine" Cochran, his parents, two brothers Robert "Bob" Cook and John Mugley and three sisters Lanora Warren, Cathy Warren and Doris Yerton. Survivors include his wife Cipprianna Cook; one son Bruce Cook and his wife Edwina of Blue Ridge, Texas; two daughters Sherry Housley and her husband Gene of Rogers, Ark., and Denise Good and her husband Kerry Blalock of Columbus, Miss.; six brothers Leon Cook of Hydro, Okla., Dwight Cook of Prairie Grove, Ark., Hubert Cook of Cresswell, Ore., Roy Dale Cook of Madill, Oklahoma, Michael Cook of Lincoln, Arkansas and John Wayne Cook of West Fork, Arkansas; three sisters Ruby Reed of Springdale, Ark., Joyce McCaslin of Elkins, Ark., and Brenda Ackley of Gentry, Ark.; seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. The family will receive friends Tuesday, August 20, 2019, from noon-2 p.m., at Luginbuel Funeral Home with the funeral service to begin at 2 p.m. Burial will be in the Zinnamon Cemetery in Strickler, Ark., there will be no graveside service held.
