Analise Jernigan, 52, passed away August 19, 2019. On March 4, 1967 Cynthia and Tom Stone began the adventure of a lifetime. Analise was born. God gave Analise to this young couple with no instructions, just patience, faith in God and hearts full of love. Analise came with many medical challenges that would have caused many to give up before the fight. Her young parents knew they had made a promise to God in heaven to give her all of the love they had to give. They vowed to each other that Analise would have as long and full a life as possible. Here is her story. Analise is the daughter of Cynthia and Tom Stone. Analise was blessed with two baby sisters, Laura Stone and Erin Latsha. Analise taught her sisters grace and compassion. They never complained about spending vacations at major medical centers around the country, or responding to each medical crisis. Analise's brother-in-law, Roger, her nephews Blake, Kevin, Taylor and Tucker, her Aunt Jennie, her Uncle Joe, her Aunt Kay and Uncle John and her countless cousins always loved and supported Analise. Despite her medical problems, Analise had a full life. She attended Centenary College. Although she did not know it at the time, her sweet future mother-in-law, Frances Jernigan, was a sorority sister. God knew what he was doing when he led Analise to the love of her life and her soul mate, Mark. They were never apart in life, and now they are together again. Mark's brother, David and David's wife, Stephanie were more than just in-laws, but good friends. Mark's two sons, Scott and Blake, made their family complete. Analise worked for many years as a volunteer and an employee at The Arc Arkansas. She was a strong advocate for her many friends over the years at The Arc. These friends became her extended family. Her friends Pam Jones, CeCe Banks, Trey Daniel, Buffy Yauger, Anne Mourning, Kay Patterson, and too many more to name were always important to her and she loved them all with her whole heart. Analise's life story would not be complete without mentioning her service dog, Lucy, who she was never without. Life is not judged by how long it lasts, but how full you make it. Analise's life was full to the very brim. Visitation will be this evening, Wednesday, August 21, from 5-7 p.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.). Graveside services are Thursday, August 22 at 10 a.m. at Oakland Cemetery in Little Rock. The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made to The Arc Arkansas, 2004 Main Street, Little Rock, Ark. 72206. Arrangements by Little Rock Funeral Home, (501) 224-2200. Analise's online guestbook may be signed at www.littlerockfuneralhome.com.
