Ruth Floyd Kee, 94, went to be with the Lord on August 23, 2019. She died peacefully surrounded by her family at her home. She was loved by everyone that knew her. She always greeted everyone with a smile and her sweet personality. She was a homemaker for most of her life, but she was proud of the fact that she was one of the Rosie Riveters during WWII at the Stuttgart Air Base. Ruth was born in Hazen, Arkansas on March 7, 1925 to Festus and Iva Jenkins Floyd. She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Harvey; her son, Larry Kee; son-in-law, Ken Mills and grandson, Terry Kee; siblings, Morris Floyd, Mildred Cox, Thelma Saul, Jeffie Zarlingo, and JD Floyd. She is survived by three sons, Charles (Joyce) Kee, Loy (Debbie) Kee, Stevie (Barbara) Kee and two daughters, Shirley Mills and Becky (Tony) Sayger, and a daughter-in-law, Edith Kee, all of Hazen and one Aunt, Evelyn Jacobs of Little Rock, 17 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren. She also had three special caregivers, Laveria Jackson, Justina Thomas, and Brenda Jones. Visitation will be August 24, 2019 at Westbrook Funeral Home from 5 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Sunday, August 25, 2019 at Center Point Missionary Baptist Church in Hazen. Officiating will be Bro. Billy Booth, Bro. Christian VanHouten, and Shane Weems. Burial will be in the Center Point Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Chuck Kee, Loy Kee, Jr., Stevie Kee II, James Kee, Andrew Sayger, and Brett Noah. Honorary pallbearers include all her grandchildren.
