Joy C. McCarthy

Joy C. McCarthy, 81, of Bentonville, Ark., formerly of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, went to God, in her sleep August 15, 2019 from the Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale, Ark. She was born in Escanaba, Mich., to William F. (Pearl) Treptow. Joy, worked for many years with hospice and surgery centers both Cedar Rapids, and Arkansas. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, sons; Martin Williamson (Amy), of Alvin, Texas, James Shawn McCarthy, of Los Angeles, Calif., John Patrick McCarthy, of Fayetteville, Ark., daughters; Kristal Zieser (Randy), of Robins, Iowa, Kelly Johnstone, of Waterloo, Iowa, Kathy McCarthy (Joe), of Phoenix, Ariz. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Pearl Treptow. Sons; James Patrick McCarthy, Justin Michael Michael McCarthy, a brother; Billy Treptow, sisters; Hope Kimball and Barbara Hines, 14 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren. She will be entered at the Columbarium following her Mass of Christian Burial at St. Stephens Catholic Church, of Bentonville. MSGR Scott L. Marczuk J. C.L., officiating.
