HOBERT BULLOCK, JR., 80, of Sherwood passed away at home on Wednesday, August 21st. He was born in Humphrey, Ark., to parents Hobert Bullock, Sr. and Fannie Mae Bullock. He joined the Air Force after graduating high school and served his country for twenty two years until he retired as a Master Sargent. After retiring from the service, Hobert embarked on a new career as a truck driver working most recently for Stone Trucking. Hobert was a dedicated member of the North Hills Baptist Church. He was a tireless worker and served the church in many ways over the years. Hobert is survived by his loving and faithful wife of fifty years, Virginia Bullock; his son, James Bullock (Bernadette) of London Ontario, Canada; brothers, Harvey Bullock (Joy) of Mt. Home, Marvin Bullock (Bobbie) of Pine Bluff and Harold Bullock (Ann) of Ward along with the members of the North Hills Baptist Church family. Funeral Services will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, August 27th at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home, 7724 Landers Rd., NLR with burial immediately following at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery, 1501 W.
