Billy Owen Stotts

Billy Stotts, 67, passed away on Saturday, August 24, 2019 at UAMS in Little Rock. He was a retired Arkansas State Trooper who spent the majority of his career in the Executive Protection Section protecting Governors Bill Clinton, Jim Guy Tucker and Mike Huckabee. Bill also had an instrumental part in the writing of the Commercial Driver's License test for the State of Arkansas. He is survived by his wife, Brenda Stotts of the home; daughter Allyson Anderson (Billy) of Lake City; mother, Pat Fleetwood of Caraway; brother, Chuck Stotts (Fran) of Bismarck; sister, Teresa Cook of St. Cloud, Florida. A celebration of his life will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, August 28, 2019 at the Gregg Funeral Home in Monette with Brother Rick Stevens officiating.
