Titus Lyndall Grigg was born to Donnie and Amy Grigg in Crestview, Fla. on September 4, 2003. He saw the face of Jesus when he went home to heaven on August 25, 2019. When Titus was a year old, his family moved to Lufkin, Texas where they lived until he was nine. While living in Lufkin, Titus was diagnosed. The community surrounded the entire family with support. In 2014, Titus' family moved to Northwest Arkansas, and he was excited to attended Shiloh Christian School. When he relapsed, he was continually encouraged and loved by so many from his school, church and community. Titus loved to laugh. He would visit with anyone who would sit and talk with him. He enjoyed sports and played many basketball and baseball games. He was a huge Arkansas Razorback fan, always rooting loud and proud for the hogs. He took drum lessons and found great joy in playing the drums and Cajon. On occasion, he played with the worship team at his church, Vertical Community Church in Fayetteville. He loved worshipping the Lord through music. He took singing lessons and was given the opportunity to record two songs. Titus became a follower of Jesus Christ in February 2012. His life and suffering had great purpose and meaning, and he knew it. He praised Jesus the loudest on his hardest days. The desire of his heart was for others to see Jesus in his journey and be pointed to the goodness and faithfulness of his Lord. Titus was preceded in death by his grandfather, Lyndall Grigg; his great-grandfathers Millard Johnson, Jimmy Joe Stone, and Robert Mitchell and his great-grandmother, Helen Johnson. He is survived by his father and mother, Donnie and Amy Grigg of Fayetteville; two siblings, Anna Grigg and Christian Grigg of Fayetteville; grandparents, Judy Stone of Fayetteville, Barbara Grigg of Fayetteville, and Gary Stone of Laguna Vista, Texas; great- grandparents, Ruth Mitchell of Gravette and Margaret Stone of Lubbock, Texas; uncles and aunts, Matt and Debra Connolly of Rogers, Christy Smith of Fayetteville, and Josh and Tara Stone of Springdale; cousins Jordan Smith of Fayetteville, Drew and Julia Cozart of Kansas City, Mo., Madison Smith of Fayetteville, and Austin and Michael Connolly of Rogers; and numerous other relatives and a host of friends. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 28 from 5–7 p.m. at reception held at Vertical Community Church, 3422 North College Avenue, Fayetteville, Arkansas.
