Ken V. Hanshew

Ken V. Hanshew, of Tomball, Texas, formerly of NW Arkansas, passed away on Thursday, August 22, 2019 at the age of 75. Ken was born on September 6, 1943 in Fayetteville, Ark. to parents Kenneth and Virgie Hanshew. He was the eldest of three children and attended the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, Ark. Ken was an insurance salesman for Allstate and Farmers Insurance Companies for many years in Northwest Arkansas. Ken was an avid Arkansas Razorback and Dallas Cowboy fan. He enjoyed golfing, camping, and woodworking. Ken was preceded in death by both of his parents. Ken is survived by his son, Colby Hanshew of Tomball, Texas and daughter, Stacy Bowen of Tomball, Texas; his brother Ed Hanshew and his wife Shelia of Springdale, Ark.; his sister Cindy Hanshew-Tew of Fayetteville, Ark.; his two grandchildren, Blayne Bowen and Hailee Hanshew, one great-grandson, nieces and nephews, friends, and many other loved ones. The cremation will take place in Tomball, Texas. In celebration of Ken's life friends and family are invited to attend the scattering of his ashes at a date to be determined later. The family is grateful for the condolences, but declines flowers and donations.
